THANK YOU to our Sponsor, the DuBois Business College,
the presenters, and the businesses that host the class sessions.
This program is a success because you are involved!
The Greater DuBois Leadership Institute meets monthly from September through June, to visit manufacturing facilities, see tourism attractions, hone leadership skills, and gain insight into issues of transportation, workforce, healthcare, social services, and economic development in our communities. Along the way, students will see a variety of leaders at work: business owners, economic development and workforce specialists, municipal and county government officials. The last session before graduation culminates with a trip to the State Capitol in Harrisburg to discuss local issues with our legislators. The ultimate goal of the Greater DuBois Leadership Institute is to generate home-grown community leaders, by providing participants of the program with skills and knowledge of the opportunities and resources that exist in the Greater DuBois Area. The program is open to all citizens in the Greater DuBois Area who meet a set of criteria. Participants are determined based on nomination from a current employer, completion of an application that showcases their desire to be a community leader, and are ultimately chosen based on the unbiased decision of a selection committee.

to offer their leadership capabilities to the Greater DuBois Area.

THE GOAL
To equip each participant with the personal skills and understanding of

Develop interpersonal relationships among participants, which will provide
a common ground for working together on future projects.
