Founded in 2006 by Robert Gothier Jr., J.C. BAR Properties Inc. was built on a foundation of retail development experience with the most recognized retailers in the Mid-Atlantic region including Ahold USA (Giant and Martin's Food Stores), CVS/Caremark, Sheetz, and others. We specialize in acquisition, entitlement, construction, property management and leasing of constructed, redeveloped, commercial property, and existing shopping centers.

Today, J.C. BAR has grown to sixteen employees encompassing over 100 years of commercial real estate experience and more than a combined $1 Billion dollars in completed retail and mixed use projects. Collectively, the team prides itself in non-traditional strategies and solutions to all aspects of commercial development including construction, project management, and tenant representation.

J.C. BAR is responsible for managing over 3 million square feet of properties in the Mid-Atlantic area. Our primary goal is the peace of mind that comes from a project's sustained position in the market, protected physical appearance, long term satisfaction of its tenants, and watchful consideration of all financial elements as if they were our own.

Liberty Marketplace

Located in the heart of DuBois, PA, Liberty Marketplace is a 25 AC prime shopping center offering in-line retail leases and up to 15 AC of developable land. Parcels for land development are sub-dividable to as little as one acre plots. Commercial limited zoning allows for a wide variety of potential uses, including retail and food services.
