SUMMARY:CMMCOverview Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is expected to show up in DoD contracts later this year and in 2026 we will see all DoD contracts with some level of CMMC assigned.\n\nWhether you are a prime or a subcontractor\, your company will need to be assessed by a licensed CMMC-AB approved C3PAO if your company is handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). CUI comes in all forms\; one example that relates to most is technical drawings/specifications.\n\nSecuring our nations supply chain is the main focus of this new regulation. The new CMMC efforts will build upon existing regulation DFARS 252.204-7012 however\, a self-attestation will no longer be accepted and verification will be a must.\n\nOn October 15\, 2020\, please join the Northwest Commission's PTAC Government Contracting Manager\, Robyn Young as she provides an overview of CMMC as well as resources that will help your company understand what is required and prepare for the assessment and compliance.
