DESCRIPTION:The DuBois Area Historical Society is disappointed to announce that Dr. William R. Beckwith is unable to be the guest speaker at the Society's annual dinner. The dinner\, which also serves as the Society's annual meeting\, will go on as planned on Thursday\, September 19\, at 6 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church\, Sunflower Drive\, DuBois. Efforts will be made to find a substitute speaker. Cost per person for the dinner is $25. The menu includes: stuffed chicken breasts\, meatloaf and gravy\, mashed potatoes\, green beans\, cabbage and noodles\, and salad. Reservations are due by September 13. Checks should be made payable to the DuBois Area Historical Society.
