WPAL Winter Warrior Showdown

The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) is excited to announce the return of the Winter Warrior Showdown, one of the region's premier strength events. This competition will take place Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at the WPAL Fitness Center at 37 E. Long Ave., DuBois. This event brings together athletes from across the region to compete in a high-energy, community-driven powerlifting meet while also supporting local youth, first responders, veterans, and the mission of WPAL. Weigh-Ins are from 7am to 8am with the powerlifting beginning at 9am sharp. Registration is running from December 1st until December 31st. Full Power (all 3 lifts) is $75, Iron Man (bench/deadlift) is $55, and Bench Only is $40. There will awards given to the top 3 in Full Power and 1st place only in Bench and Iron Man divisions.
